Similar to Dan's thread for the Spring 2.5 exam, I wanted to share my experiences for the Spring 3.0 one. It was way too much to post here, so I blogged it. I also put up my study notes here on JavaRanch and updated our Spring Certification FAQ.

So it sounds like anyone that pays for the class can pass the test? At least is that what SpringSource is conveying?
The math on the class is outrageous though.
Here is what it looks like for me:

$2,700 Training
$500 airfare
$400 Hotel
$400 rental car
$160 food
$3,000+ time off work (training)
$150 exam fee
$300+ time off work (exam)

----------------------
TOTAL: $7,610

Is this really worth it?

That's what I am conveying. SpringSource has been pretty much silent on the matter.

I agree it's not worth it. I was taking the class anyway so I took the test. I didn't decide to take the class because of the test.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
