What´s the difference about these classes, all change the pixels on the scrren, but what I can see the difference about them are: ConvolveOp change the pixels of source image with a value kernel and paint on the destImage, ok???..... the lookUp and RescaleOp make the same thing, changes the color but hte different ways, the lookupOp works in the rgb and alhpa with numbers of 0 - 255 variations of color and the RescaleOp works with the scaleFactor * Color(sourceImage) + offset to change the colors. My main doubt is about BandCombineOp it seems in this class the colors doens´t change just read the colors and paint in the destImage like matrix.
Am I right or not???

Thank you,

Fernando.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
