Is there any way to get the refering page in a custom tag? (other than coding it in as an attribute)

Red flag! Why would you want to do this?

Hi Bear,
To display an image and some text based on the position in the pageflow the user is. Also there's a lot of logic behind what image to select.

It'd be far better to have an
explicit
indicator of where the user is within the flow (a parameter, perhaps, or a session scoped variable) than implicitly via where they came from. It'd be a lot less fragile and brittle.

ah yes. I believe there is already a variable in the session I could use.
