Hi folks,
I am trying to do something similary to jsp:include but also want to include an attribute into the page. I tried the following:

where currentTest is a valid bean.

so on testLayout.jsp
I tried printing out all the request.getParameters() and all the attributes in the request and page scope. but neither test nor currentTest was there.
What am I missing?
thanks!

I have also tried using tiles, unfortunately it seems like I can't use tiles inside other tags as the following:
[code]
<logic:iterate id ="currentTest" name="currentReport" property="tests">
<table>
<tr>
<tiles efinition id="testPage" page="layout/testLayout.jsp" >
<tiles:insert name="test" beanName="currentTest" ></tiles:insert>

</tiles efinition>
</tr>
</table>
</logic:iterate>
[/code
struts complained:
Can't insert page 'Test@22d09856' : Illegal to flush within a custom tag
any idea?
thanks
