Does SCJD signify a combo-course for both SCJP and SCWCD?

I'm a newbie in Java. And want to take up SCJP and SCWCD. Since I'm interested in exploring the JSP & Servlets part. I contacted NIIT for undergoing those courses. They told me that Sun Certified Java Application Developer (SCJAD) is a combined course consisting of both SCJP & SCWCD. I never heard of anything like "SCJAD" before!! So I remained silent. Now I'm doing a lot of google search.. but found nothing like "SCJAD".. I thought it might be possible that she mistakenly told me "SCJAD" instead of "SCJD"!! Does SCJD cover combined syllabus of both SCJP and SCWCD??? Please advise.

Thanks & Regards

SCJP = Java API
SCJD = developing a Java application using Java Standard Edition (based on a set of requirements)
SCWCD = Servlets & JSP (= a part of Java Enterprise Edition)

SCJA, SCJP (1.4 | 5.0 | 6.0), SCJD

Well, they certainly meant SCJD instead of SCJAD. I think your path should be SCJP then SCWCD. If you take these certifications, you'll certainly learn a lot, but that still won't show that you know how to use the Java language to solve problems of the real world. Well, that's where SCJD fits in!

Chandrima, is this SCJAD a COURSE or a CERTIFICATE?

Personal page, SCJP 6 with 91%, SCWCD 5 with 84%, OCMJD

Elchin beat me to it ...

If this is a course that NIIT is providing, then they may well be providing the training for SCJP, followed by the exam for SCJP, followed by the course for SCWCD and the exam for SCWCD.
