I've got a postcode, how can I use that with the maps API? (convert to GeoPoint maybe?)

In my application I have some postcodes.
How can I use them with the Google Maps API?
In order to put items on a map with the MapView you need GeoPoints, which are longtitude/latitude values. Using my postcode, how can I obtain these values?
