Java with Excel 2007

I need to make a swing database aplication with excel 2007 as database. The Application needs to perform basic CRUD operations. Please let me know which api and jdbc driver is to be needed to handle Excel 2007. i am using netbeans IDE

Well, Excel is a spreadsheet, not a database, and you will save yourself much grief by not assuming that it is a DB. Consequently, you'll be better off using a library such as Apache POI to handle Excel files rather than using JDBC.

Also are you sure that you meant Microsoft Excel and not Microsof t Access
