HI All,

We are using WSAD 5.0 on Windows Xp.Ours is client server as well as web project where in EJB to backed code is common for swing client and web client. We have included web war in the common ear which we deployed in the server. It gives proper results for client server but when I type URL in browser it gives following error.

This topic should really be under the java/servlets forum, because it has nothing to do with Struts specifically.

I believe that the problem here is that you have not declared the dependencey between the war file and the ejb jar file. If you are using WSAD, you do this by right-clicking the web project, and selecting "jar depencencies" (That may not be the exact term, but it's something like that). You then click the checkbox to establish a dependency on the ejb jar. Once you do this, the NoClassDefFound error should go away.

Hi Merrill,

Thanks for the reply.

But we have included the EJB jar in jar dependancies.Still we are getting the same error.

Do we need to change any other thing..I mean any xml file etc..

Let me know.

Thanks,

Problem got solved.

We are calling EJBs from our proxy project and proxy project is simple java project. When we make proxy project as connector project and then ran the web app it runs...
