MKS Query: How to merge a new file from a Development Path to Main Line?

Dears,
Suppose I have a MainLIne CheckPoint M1. I created a development path Path-1 from M1. I added one file a.java into Path-1. Now I want to merge a.java into MainLine. At present I am manually copying the file into MainLine folder and adding it as a member.

Is there any other way to merge the new file into MainLine, similar to a modified file?

Any help will be appreciated...

Regards
Monoranjan
