a4j is not found

i m using rich faces 3.3.3 with jsf 1.2 and facelets 1.1.14
i m getting the a4j not found error
when using <a4j commandbutton
i think may be there is some problem with
web.xml
so here is my file

There is a "Code" button on our message editor. You can use that to add tags to your message that make code and XML samples more readable.

I think your message is actually coming from the "xhtml" page. You have to declare the a4j namespace like this:

yes it is from xhtml page......and i have done the name space declaration in the HTML tag itself
as i am a new bee in JSF i don't know about the composition....if you help me a little i m thankful to you
