I'm using the google maps api and JSF to display marker positions for my site: http://www.rockfishreports.com.

I'm using Facelets, ui:repeat and ArrayLists to display the markers.

I want to update the markers realtime.

What's the technology to support this? Ajax/ICEfaces?

Thanks for the advice.

Ultimately, JavaScript.

A lot the of modern-day software development platforms are designed to permit parcelling out work to those with the best aptitude for it. A lot of modern-day business is predicated on making one person do all the work, regardless of aptitude.
