Scheduling the exam

I have 10+ years of Java experience and a pretty deep object-oriented background. All that I'm still lacking are threading topics and a few generic things. How long would it probably take to learn for the whole exam (given that I also own the book SCJP Study Guide by Sierra and Bates)? Can it be done in under a week? Should I rather plan for two weeks?

I would suggest first attempt some ScjpMockTests and compare your results and prepare accordingly.

Best of luck

Karsten this really depends upon how much time you can give to preparation. Threading and Generics topics can be completed in 1 week if you can study for 8 hours a day...

It's a little less than that, so I'll assume 10-14 days will suffice. Thanks.
