I am browsing thru the endless array of available RSS readers because I'm not so happy with the one I have so I was wondering what kind of RSS reader are you guys using especially to view the java ranch feeds?

NetNewsWire (for OS X), although I don't use it much for JavaRanch in particular.

Times reader for the Mac is amazing but unfortunately isn't suited for many feeds.

I tried Times, Vienna, NetNewsWire, Gruml, Socialite, RSSOwl and many others I don't ever remember them, Gruml was the fastest and the features are pretty decent.
Not mention it is the only client that is really synchronized with Google Reader, give it a shot of you are a Mac girl.

Still using my PC from grad school. I'm keeping it until it gets too old or stops working. I can still run Eclipse/Tomcat/etc comfortably so I'm happy with it.

I switched to Google Reader - they made it easy - export/import. The only things not automatic were my "flagged" blog entries (only had 10; easy to recreate) and ordering the tags. I now have "1) comics" etc so it's not alphabetical. For functionality, it does everything Bloglines did (that I used.) I'm sure I'll be happy with it. Plus it has a compatible iPad app.

[added note about iPad]
