Hi,

Actually I want to disable the start menu on task bar (Start button) I try to get some instructions using google. But I didn't fiend anything. So I try with local group policy program. using this, I can disable some objects on start menu. But I want to hide the start menu. How can I do this? If I can do it using local group policy then how can I do it? please help me.

thank you.

If your application is going to mess around with my machine's settings, then I am going to be pissed off and will most probably uninstall your application.
I don't know why you want to disable the start button, but I think it is a very bad idea. And what about OSs which do not have a "Start" button?
If you can tell us what you are trying to do, maybe someone can offer a better solution.

Your question is not Swing related. Moving to a more appropriate forum.
