How to use a .jar file of project in netbeans

Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to netbeans IDE. I have a .jar file and build.xml file given by my professor,i need to use the class files present in the jar file in my project.

how can i import the jar file in netbeans and use it.what are the changes i need to make to the build.xml file
