Mini Laptops

Hey Guys, it's my first post in this forum!!!
I don't if this is the place to raise this query or not, and i even don't know where to ask this, but i look forward for a valuable help from you all.....

I'm planning to buy a mini-laptop, one that is small(10.1' or around), portable and most importantly cheap....

But i don't have anyone familiar who possess a mini laptop, so certainly i don't have any idea as to which one is better.....

Kindly tell me which one is great and can be bought without a thought,,,,,

Apart from 160gb ram, intel atom 1.67ghz processor and 1GB ram....

my priorities are:

1) there should not be any problem in playing hd videos(i heard it occurs in mini laptops)
2) there should not be any problem in web surfing(often faces resoultion problem as i have heard)

Tell me anything that can help me decide which mini laptop i should buy(which means which company's laptop,or brand),,,,,i really want it to be great and completely similar to a notebook as far as low profile tasks are required(not HIGH defination gaming and all but should play HD videos and all)......

I saw a review recently of 5 or 6 mini laptops but cannot find the review now. I remember that the highest rated one was Alienware MX11: http://www.alienware.com/Landings/m11x.aspx. I can't wait until my current laptop breaks (hey, it's 3 years old) so that I can have an excuse to get one.

what you suggested is way out of my budget, i want a decent netbook,that satisfy my priorities as i mentioned above and that comes in a fair considerable price as well,,,,,,please suggest!

My friend is using Lenevo mini laptop for past one year. Regarding web surfing no issues. It's really good. For HD not sure. But his overall experience is good. You can go for it.

If yes, then read the following:

- I too have been thinking about it, it seems to be a good netbook. But i don't have anyone who possess that netbook, so i can't ask their experience with it....
Can you do me a favour, please ask your friend and confirm the following:
- Since this particular netbook comes with an AMD processor, is your friend facing multitasking issues? or the netbook goes well with simultaneous running of tasks(i'm talking about simple tasks: word, songs, surfing)...please confirm that....
- Secondly ask him if he is facing any multimedia issue? Can he play HD videos without any trouble??

Please do that for me....i will be very grateful....
