ProcessAction() in Struts bridge

Hi All,

init, doview (or) render, processAction are part of portal framework, if i use Struts portal bridge is that possible to have processAction, I have portletpreference settings in my portlet, if i use portal framework i am able to store the preference inside processAction, but if i go with struts portlet bridge, i am unable to store the portlet preference value.

please let me know which method (or) object will help me to get the portlet preference in struts portlet bridge,
I have strong dependency with the struts bridge in my portlet, so i was not able to use the portal framework due to the same processAction is not there and i am unable to store the preference value.

Hi Saravanan,

let me know which struts framework you are using?(Struts2.0 or Struts1.xx)

If You Are using Struts2.0 Portlet then You can add Preferences declaration and setters method in ACTION class.

If you want store values in preferences the you need to write code in execute() of Action class by using portletPreferences variable which is specified in above step .
