Feedback on a small program i'm working on in Java

Hi JavaRanch users,
I have built a tool bar with buttons that execute web links intended to be used as a convenience for quickly accessing your top 14 (or less) sites without having to even open the browser first.

I'm wondering if i can get some feedback on the way i have the GUI setup and ideas for how i to better setup the ordering of the buttons.

Anyway i have made jar's for both windows and Mac. Would anyone be interested in downloading and giving a try?

Thanks,
Curveo

How is it different or more convenient than any of the other existing solutions for either platform?

Here is the link to the download.
LaunchPad

Just choose the appropriate download based on your operating system.

David, well i'm not sure if its better then other solutions out there just what i came up with based on my current needs. The reason i would like some help from you guys is this is my first program and i'm not sure how great the GUI is and i would like to know what you think about the preferences panel and how i can improve the ordering editing functionality.

Thanks!

I suggest you add some screen shots to your site.

Thats a good idea. Thanks. But any thoughts on layout/design or button ordering implementation?
Somebody mentioned i should add the components to a JScrollPane instead of using pack() and I agree with that!

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
