Hi,

Can anyone explain why we need the ApplicationResources declared twice, i.e. in the web.xml and in the struts-config?

web.xml:

<init-param>
<param-name>application</param-name>
<param-value>ApplicationResources</param-value>
</init-param>

struts-config:

<message-resources
parameter="ApplicationResources"
null="false" />

Thank you,

Cesar

There is no need to mention in 2 places...in 1.0 it was in web.xml and 1.1. they moved that to struts-config.xml and 1.1 has backward compatibility so no issues
