This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I am SCJP programmer working as a Java and J2EE developer, I am preparing for SCWCD exam but except the knowledge and confidence do this certifications help me to get a better job or provide any benefits in near future because in my work we use struts2 so just to make sure that all this efforts and money buy my something valuable in future.
Any advice and opinions will be very much appreciated.
No certification comes with Job Guarantee. IMO a certification gives you knowledge and proves to others that you have decent knowledge of the related technology. This might give you an edge over a non-certified person of the same level of experience in an interview...
Thanks to all of you for replies, all I want to ask that if we get these certifications at least IT firms will select candidates for interview over those who are not certified. Please post your suggestions and experiences how it works in the industry.
Thanks and Regards

If nobody replies, it may be because nobody knows, or you asked at the wrong forum. Or because you should start your own thread when you have a question.
Ok i'll post my question in my own thread, sorry for the disturbance here.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
