hi all
how are you guys doing. I am pretty much new to programming,here is my doubt -

I am trying to read test.txt and write the same to newtest.txt. I have no idea of where do i save these 2 files. can any one help me out there.

Your files will be wherever you tell the program to put them. In this case, in the same directory you are working from.

Why are you not using buffered streams? There is a section about buffered streams in the Java™ Tutorials.

I was going through i/o package,,, first topic was about byte streams, next after some point comes buffered streams, i would use them as practice on... THanks for help Though.
