This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
I was just wondering, which of these both is easier to pass (both are interesting to me and I don't have so much time, just till 30.04.2010 because my voucher ends then).
I am not so familiar with the theme, so I have to learn for both exams.
In addition to what Mikalai says, the SCWCD is a good step towards SCDJWS.
Java web services uses servlet technology and a good understanding of those concepts will make further studies easier.
Hi MZ (or any body for that matter),
Can you please suggest books for SCDJWS for EE5 or EE6 version? I know there is sun book (v1.4 though)
Designing Web Services with the J2EE(TM) 1.4 Platform : JAX-RPC, SOAP, and XML Technologies. Does this
book a good reference along with SOAP and other related specifications?
thanks a bunch

The book you're mentioning (also it's referred to as "Web Services Blueprints") is still good for SCDJWS 5.0 exam for the Web Services Architecture topics.
Besides this book you should refer other study sources which are listed on the SCDJWS Links page on this forum.
