SAXParseException: The prefix "title" for element "title:String" is not bound

Hey guys,

I'm having this problem that drives me crazy ...

The scenario is the following: We are working in a geo information context (something like google maps) and are trying to add/remove/modify information on a Web-Feature-Server.

The information between client and server is shared via xml, and all the processing is done by a tool called geotools. So all I do is prepare the requests and call modifyFeature and the rest should be done automatically.

Now, removing, adding works great, but when updating the SAXParser always throws the following exception:

Title is an attribute that needs to be modified. Behind the scenes it is a column of an SQL table that is picked up and maintained by the WFS-Server.

I already googled a little and found out that this might be a bug of the parser or something but I have no idea how to solve this issue.

Thanks for help guys

What does that XML look like? I guess, the namespace prefix hasn't been declared.

Thats the problem. I can't get a hold of the returned XML. The geotools code creates an input stream and passes it to the SAXParser and I can't figure out it's content.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
