Learn Java for Android Development - CB App

Hi Jeff,

I would like to write a CB application to talk to other in traffic, just like a CB, but based on distance to android phone.

Would it be possible to have a android "CB" application searching for other "CB" application based on GPS location?

and then open up a bluetooth, wireless connection and stream audio, actually voice?

Hi Randy,

I wish I could answer this question for you but I'm not an experienced Android developer (although my goal is to become experienced). I've done very little with Android to date, and my LJFAD book is more about providing a solid understanding of the Java language and foundational APIs (such as the Collections Framework) than about teaching Android specifics.
