I've created a JSF applicatioon for personal use, and planning to hire a vps and a domain (say www.myjsf.com). However, I can't find any tutorial about deploying JSF application to VPS, and don't have any idea how can when someone type www.myjsf.com, it will redirect to my vps. I'm sure most of you already go pass this thing, so i will gladly help if anyone can point me to a link tutorial, or share their experience. A simple google keywords are welcome, because my google keyword "deploy jsf web application to vps" returns mostly link to vps providers.
What are you using locally to deploy your application? If Tomcat, you need to go ahead and install Tomcat on your VPS. Then deploying is the same...

I use tomcat. Well, lets just say i've installed tomcat on vps, and put my war on a webapps folder. I still don't have idea how can a person typed www.mysite.com (let's just say i rent that domain), and it redirects into my tomcat
On local computer, during development, I move tomcat to port 80, and type http://localhost/myapp (the context still have to be typed)
Also, as far as i know, tomcat is a servlet container, to run such thing, shouldn't I need something like apache http server?
