IBM Portlet and Trinidad

I am trying to import an existing jsp page that was developed using apache trinidad components with PPR. I would like to import or re-created that page in a portlet. is that doable my environment is

IBM Portal with feature pack 6.1.5. App server is 7.0 from RADs installation.
RAD 7.5.5 with portal development enabled
runtime is Websphere portal 6.1 on WAS 7.0

First, I need to know if that is doable or not, second, can trinidad libraries co-exist with ibm faces or ibm jsf libraries. I get this error when I drop the trinidad libraries in the /WEB-INF/lib folder

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Application was not properly initialized at startup, could not find Factory: javax.faces.context.FacesContextFactory

any guidance would be appreciated.
How ever, the standalone trinidad application works fine on the same server on which the portal is running. there seems to be an issue/conflict with library and Trinidad.
