Client Side Validations

How can client side validations be done in Spring? I dont want the control to hit the controller and the validators getting called. I want something like a JS validation thats done upfront. Please help.

You would have to use Javascript to perform any client side validation, however you cannot rely JUST on this as JavaScript can be easily turned off.
