hi,
I am using vista OS, when I click on jboss's "run" file, command prompt appears for couple of seconds and goes off automatically.

Please let me know what should I do now

Thanks in advance

Two suggestions:
1. Bring up a command prompt and run JBoss from there. The reason for JBoss not starting will probably display
2. Look at the JBoss' log file

I am using java development kit 1.7 and J boss 5.1

The findstr issue has been discussed repeatedly in this forum. Check out this thread: http://www.coderanch.com/t/491518/JBoss/run-bat-JBoss
Searching the forum for finstr should lead to other disucssions.

@Jai kiran, there was some problem in path, now Jboss is running successfully .

But I am not able to deploy my jsp program.

I am getting 404 error.
I am using build.xml for deploying and in build properties file , I have given correct path for war file to deploy, web.xml is also correct.

Please let me know what will be other problem?

thanks

Please create a separate thread to discuss that. Include the relevant details in that thread.
