Understanding figures in the certification book

Hi all,

does anyone understand how to read the figures in the book? For example figure 1-4 on page 37 "Effects of protected access". What is the meaning of the letters 'D', 'R', 'I' ? I have not found some explaining text in the preface unfortunately.

2. On the same page below the diagram its given what does D,R and I mean

D-> Declared
R-> Reference
I-> Inherited
