Netbeans... projects just randomly dont work...

I am just starting to learn Java.

Twice NetBeans has screwed up a project. It would not run right, posted on forum about it, people said it looked fine, so I created a new project, pasted in the code, and works great.

I guess this is because I am a newb so I am trying things, changing it some, etc, etc and something about how netbeans keeps track of the project just goes kaput.

Is there anyway to tell netbeans to just ignore what it thinks it knows about a project, and to reevaluate the code?
