I have an issue with a ListBox, it's a multiple selection list, and the first element is always selected, I have tried to put setSelectedIndex(-1) after the list has been added to the root panel and no luck. the google site says it's an issue but they don't provide another solution than the setSelectedIndex, so does anyone know what I can do to not having this problem?. I have GWT 1.5.3, regards.

Try upgrading to the latest version.
If google says this is a known issue, most probably, it has been resolved in later versions.

I tried to run my code using the newest jars out there, and found out I needed to make al of changes on the code, so right now it's not the solution for me. I was able to make the list not autoselect the first element, it's now selecting the very last one.. but I don't know what else I can do:

This will take the problem of having selected the first element but now the last one is the one selected . Anyone please help.
