Dreamcar: Inventory system question

Hi out there, I have problems understanding my assignment:
1) Without diving too deep in the details, the initial request that parts are needed comes from this superiour inventory system and an employee will enter data in my SUD. Do I have to model this initial operation or is it enough to assume that the employee knows what data to enter and directly start with the first Usecase (create Auction)?

2) Does the validation of the entered data has to be done by my SUD or is it done by the inventory system (which has to be informed about the entered data by my SUD)?

I hope I do not violate the forum rules, but these questions are so basic that I cant proceed without clarification.
It seems the most challenging part of the assignment is to understand WHAT to do instead of HOW to do - not very happy about it

Those sound like things for you to decide. Whenever you aren't sure as to "what", document it as an assumption.

I'm going to lock this thread because I can't imagine how someone could answer it without doing the work for you. I recommend reposting asking something like how do I decide what to do for X?
