core spring test voucher

I just attended SpringOne and did not get a voucher, and am being told that the only way I can take the Spring Certification is to take the Spring Code training. I have been working on Spring since 2004 and cannot afford $2,700 for training. Actually with all expenses, it will cost a TOTAL: $7,610

How is everyone getting to take the exam. Is everyone take the training?

Why do you need the certification? It's turning into a test to show you understood the course anyway.

You mentioned Spring One. Was there something that indicated you would get permission to take the test from the conference? As far as I know, grandfathering is gone and the only way to take the test is to take the course.
