Hello All,

I read that , JAX-WS can be implemented as an EJB endpoint or servlet endpoint. I have seen examples where a POJO and EJB exposed as SEI, but not really a Servlet being exposed as JAX-WS endpoint. Also from the post, it seems it is not possible and is of poor design. Does the servlet based end point means POJO based endpoint running in a web tier and wrapped by container specific servlets or does the real servlet is exposed as a web service endpoint, with one of its doXXX methods as @WebMethod. If yes, can some body point me an example.

Hi!
The name "servlet-based endpoint" may be slightly misleading, since it it what you call a POJO endpoint implementation class.
The wrapping of the POJO and EJB based endpoints is done automatically by the JAX-WS web service stack.
Best wishes!
