I saw that the Portals and the WebSphere section of the forum is bit inactive i had posted some queries there and got no replies or replies many days later. Could we have some Bartenders for these sections. The other sections are quite active and we get replies quite quickly. I am not sure how the process of making Bartenders happen. But it would be really helpful if a few experts came in there every once in a while to help out.
You misunderstand the role of the Bartender. The Bartender's job is to make sure that policies are followed so that the forums are friendly places to get questions answered. It is not their job to answer questions, though many do as part of community.
Yes! Policing the sections are necessary. But it would be great if you could have some experts in there. If you look at the 1st page of the sections you would see many unanswered threads with zero posts. You guys may know people and request them to come and help out!
Looking at your last question, this is unlikely to be something the average WPS, let alone WebSphere Application Server would know. Maybe you should call IBM support rather than posting that kind of query on a free forum?
