As you may have noticed, today we moved the Ranch FAQ section to a new place. What used to be at http://faq.javaranch.com/ is now at http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/. Why "how to", you ask? Actually, it's both a How-To, and a FAQ, and a few other things - more like a knowledge base, really, as one of the moderators suggested. But we decided to go with How-To, so there. The new location also lays the foundation for some new features to come, so stay tuned for that.

What about all the links and bookmarks pointing to the old location? Relax, we've got you covered. We've put a redirection service in place, so all existing links will continue to work for the foreseeable future. That may not last forever, though, so if you see old-style links you may want to update those with the new ones. Apart from that, everything should continue to work much like before.

If you have any questions or concerns, or notice something out of the ordinary, please bring it up here.

Very seamless. I was on the FAQ earlier before I saw this and hadn't even noticed it moved.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
