Help with getting the database to take values (Java-MySQL)

First of all, i apologize that i had to post the entire program and that it may cause confusion.

Anyway, my problem basically is the database won't take the values i type into the two fields i have here (usernameField and passwordField). Before i had no problems getting it to work but then after i made some modifications i'm now getting the following error "most of the time" when i hit on the Submit button (yes, there are a few instances wherein i am able to successfully Register the values, though i do not know what triggers this).

That's just a plain old Java programming question. It's nothing to do with the database at all. At line 131 of your code (which probably isn't line 131 of your post) you are trying to use a null reference by calling one of its methods. Find out what that line is and why that reference is null.

Got it. Thanks for pointing that out.
