I am new to this forum, I apologize in advance for any error I may make.

Well, I am trying to save the zone Hashtable<String, JPanel> however when I try to save it, it saves the the whole calling object and the whole UIMap class.
I only want to save the Hashtable but intead it saves everything. Could anyone tell me why is this happening.

You're doing all right, but in the future, keep in mind to:

UseCodeTags and
IsolateTheProblem

I put in code tags for you, but I haven't been able to isolate the problem. Basically, that means I spent 60 seconds scanning your 400 lines of code, did a quick search for key words like "save" and "write" and still can't figure out where you're saving a hash table to anywhere. Now I'm giving up, but I'll take another look if you show us where your problem is occurring.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
