I am using eclipse IDE

If I detach left column window in Java Perspective (By selecting detached), how to re attach it in place ? I can only see the window, whn I click on it in Fast view. When I click on centre window again, this left window goes in the background. I dont get the option to deselect dcetached to get the left window back in place permanently (Till I select detached again).

How to get left window back in place ?

Thanks

You are talking about one of the Eclipse view windows, right? You should be able to drag the window to either the edge of the Eclipse window, or drag it next to the tab of another window that is in the location you want.

As an example. let's say that you detached the Hierarchy window. To reattach it, drag the Hierarchy tab (not the window, just the tab inside the window) next to the Project Explorer tab and drop it there. Then Hierarchy will be back in its place.
