Hi,

when i submit the form i want to submit the values of the properties rendered using bean:write also to be submitted. But these values are set to Null. Is there any way to get around this (other than making those fields also as text fields).

Thank you in advance

I always just use an html:hidden tag in tandem with the bean:write tag. But if there's a better way to do it I'd like to know.

If your formBean in scope is in session, then you don't need Hidden fileds. Just a small idea. That depends how big the object is...

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
