I had read that to attempt the scdjws you need to be scjp , but while registering on prometric site it allowed me to register without any query regarding my scjp certification.

I have done my scjp long back 1.2 .

So have the eligiblity criteria changd now

Please, take a look at Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Services Developer

Hint: it still requires any version of SCJP as prerequisite (you're eligible, since any SCJP edition is valid)

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
