I want to load a mySql resultset in memory as xml document, using JDBC, so that I can display the values in a jsp, as well as filter the document for display, as and when required.
I am using JAXP to load a mysql result set into a xml document, in memory. This works fine when there are smaller resultsets(aound 500, or 1000). However, I have around 28000 rows returned from the db, and when I try to load that, the log shows that the loading process just stops in the middle, without any error.
The code snippet is provided below:
Could somebody let me know what could be the reason of the loading process stopping midway?(I am tring to load the document at the servlet init)
Is this an efficient way of loading a large db resultset in xml?
Can anyone suggest any better alternate approach?
Thanks for your help as always!
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
