Hi All,

I need to get the database dump from Ms Access database, using java standalone application, using Java Runtime exec. process.

We have an functionality in Mysql 'mysqldump' but i do not know we have a similar kind of function in MS Access.

Kindly help me out in this. It would be better if i can get some sample code.

Regards,
Prabhu

In Access, you can export the tables to CSV. In Java, though, you would have to query each table and pull each record. The Meta Data JDBC classes can assist in automating this, though.

Since Access is a file based database, can't you simply copy your database file(s)?
