How to Create Reports in web application using birt

HI,

I need help in integrating birt in our web application. i.e.. create web application which has the report generating capabilities using birt.

Do you need to design BIRT reports or just run them? If its just running them, the custom tag libs BIRT supplies is the easiest way to do it. Have a look at the integration page of their website.

This is the first time i am using BIRT. there are screen shots to show us how to use BIRT inside eclipse. but i want to use it in our web application. this part i did not understand.

Hi can explain me how you call those birt reports in your application. Its very urgent presently i am working on that one.

I am using BIRT first time and I need to generate reports and show them on jsp page. Well I need to generate report using JNDI.
Technologies that I am using are Struts 1.2, hibernate, Jsp and offcourse BIRT.

Can anyone help me out to achieve this?

Forgot to add in my last post that the server that i am using is Tomcat.
Is there any configurations required within the tomcat to show the reports on browser?
