The internet is a vast ocean of hard-to-use data on how to maximize bang-for-your-buck.

You guys know good sites that help cut through the enormous number of options to figure out optimum configurations for certain budgets?

(In other words if you have $X to spend, here's what you should get)

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
