Is it possible to work with meta-models on EJB?

Hello,
I've been working for a while with EMF, where it's possible to model the domain model, for example with UML Class Diagrams. EMF has a distinction between the meta-model and the actual model.
Now I need to move into EJB environment and I was wondering if it's possible to come up with something alike... I mean to work with meta-models? Sorry for throw such question but right now I cannot think of an idea and maybe you could shed some light into the darkness  thanks!

Do you mean is it possible to create UML classes and generate EJBs? The answer is yes, but I think your question is more involved than that.
