FTP in java

i have one requirement. i want to download files frequently. i need to write a ftp- java programme that has to restart downloading even it stops. automatically it has to restart downloading process. without human intervention it has to resume the down load process.

For downloading you could use the apache commons project (http://commons.apache.org/net/api/org/apache/commons/net/ftp/FTPClient.html) which also offers you the possibility to restart a download (if it's supported by the server).
