Hello all,
So happy! Finally I can put my notes away and enjoy the weekend.
I studied this certification for 3 months. Before that I knew little about session bean, even less about MDB and none about JPA. My preparation resource was the EJB in Action book, EJB specifications and Mikalai Zaikin's notes. By reading the EJB in Action book, I acquired a general understanding. Then I referred to Mikalai Zaikin's for direction to which part of the EJB specification covers the exam objective. Then I read the spec and extract all needed information in a note similar to that of Mikalai Zaikin's. I am really proud that I am able to read the whole EJB spec.
So, many thanks to Mikalai Zaikin for providing such a complete notes, and for showing me that reading the EJB spec is possible.
I also like to thank the JavaRanch community for making this site a great place for certification preparation. I visited this site a great deal during all my preparations for sun certifications. As a thank you, I like to share my notes (https://sites.google.com/site/mostlyjava/scbcd) to anyone preparing for the exam. I also have a note on SCWCD (https://sites.google.com/site/mostlyjava/scwcd) and SCJP (https://sites.google.com/site/mostlyjava/scjp) but they are based on the certification book rather than exam objectives. Nevertheless, I hope they can be useful.
