I just ordered myself a Lenovo T410s 2924 machine. I enquired almost about most of the things but I failed to enquire about the number of slots that are available for RAM expansion. The system just has 2 GB RAM and I would like to know on how could I find out if the motherboard has 2 slots for RAM so that I can plug in another 2 GB on it. I would be getting my system tomorrow but would like to find it out before hand so that I can cancel my order if there are no 2 slots for the RAM as I would like it.

Google for "lenovo t410s manual". You'll find the manual. Page 89 describes where the DIMM memory slots are. There are two memory slots, as can be seen in the picture.
Just two days short of 4 months since I've been owning my Lenovo T410s. Problems started to arise. Having owned a Lenovo R61 series without even a single problem, I'm a bit worried with the new one and especially after paying 2000 Euros for this. The picture shows the problem (a good 3 centimeter crack next to the touch pad). I would be contacting the customer care and hope then fix it for me. But anyways, I'm terribly worried. This machine has mostly been stationary on my desk and unlike the other one which runs without being shut down for almost a year and a half, I take a good good care of my T410s. Without much wear and tear, to see the plastics cracked I'm hugely dissapointed.

Thank goodness, I have a 3 year Onsite Warranty and just got to know from the customer care that I will be visited by a Lenovo customer care executive at my home and get it replaced. Well, I like this! But still when I think about the crack on such an expensive gadget within 6 months, I feel it a bit disappointing.
