Jeanne enters the stratosphere

As I speak, Jeanne Boyarsky's post count is teetering on the very knife edge of 20,000. If posts were meters, her output would elevate her beyond the thin shell of breathable air we inhabit into the rarified region known as the stratosphere, devoid of birds but full of speeding jet planes. This is fitting because Jeanne simply soars in everything she does. She's full of great technical advice on a range of topics, can make databases sing in four part harmony, is rumored to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and is one of my favorite people on the whole Interwebs. And without her, we'd all still be typing at a pile of rusty Perl code instead of the sleek, vibrant caffeinated site we now enjoy.

So please, hoist your glasses and join me in congratulating and thanking Jeanne on reaching this milestone. Na zdrowie!

Jeanne is amazing regardless of her post count. But yes, this is a very exciting thing. We'd still be powered by perl if it weren't for her.

Congrats Jeanne (though count doesn't say much about the other great stuff you have done for the forum )

Just a number, but still a very big number. I remember being neck-and-neck with you around the 9k mark...
